1. Site information

Under French law (article 6 of Act No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy), users of the website kwevio.com and of the Kwevio app are informed of the identity of the parties involved in their creation and upkeep:

2. Terms of use

Using the kwevio.com website and the Kwevio app implies full acceptance of the terms of use set out below. These terms may be amended or supplemented at any time, so users are invited to review them regularly. The site is normally available at all times; an interruption for technical maintenance may nonetheless be decided by FACEM WEB, which will endeavour, where possible, to give prior notice of the dates and times involved.

3. Services provided

The kwevio.com website and the Kwevio app are intended to provide a business-expense management service (mileage allowances, VAT, receipts, accounting export) and information about that service. FACEM WEB strives to provide information that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies or gaps in updates, whether caused by itself or by third-party partners. The rates, scales and tax rules mentioned are indicative and must be checked against official sources.

4. Technical limitations

The site and app use JavaScript and run mainly in the browser. FACEM WEB cannot be held liable for any material damage arising from their use. Users undertake to access them with recent, virus-free equipment and an up-to-date, current-generation browser. As data entered in the app is stored on the user's device by default, it is the user's responsibility to keep it backed up.

5. Intellectual property

FACEM WEB owns the intellectual property rights and holds the usage rights to all elements available on the site and app: the “Kwevio” brand, the logo, the texts, visuals, icons and code. Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation of all or part of these elements, by any means whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of FACEM WEB. Any unauthorised use will be deemed to constitute infringement and prosecuted under articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

6. Limitation of liability

FACEM WEB cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to the user's equipment when accessing the site or app. Interactive areas (in particular the contact form) are available to users; FACEM WEB reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any submitted content that breaches the applicable French law, in particular data-protection rules, and to take action against the user where appropriate.

7. Personal data

FACEM WEB is the data controller for personal data collected through the site and app, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679, GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978.

Data collected and purposes

  • Contact form: name, company, email address and message, to answer your request.
  • App account: name, company, email address and password (hashed, never stored in clear), to create and secure your personal space.
  • Expense data you enter (trips, amounts, receipts, guests): stored locally on your device by default, and synced to our servers only if you create an account.
  • Receipts (OCR): receipt reading happens on your device; images are not sent to a third-party analysis service.
  • Calendar: access to your calendar (Google or an .ics file) is optional and consent-based; it is used only to pre-fill your trips.

Recipients and retention

Data is never sold or shared. It is accessible to FACEM WEB and its host solely for the purposes of the service. Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months; account and expense data are kept while the account is active, then deleted on request or after prolonged inactivity. Receipts should be kept in line with your own accounting and tax obligations.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. The app lets you export and delete your data at any time. To exercise your rights, contact FACEM WEB via the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).

The kwevio.com website may contain hyperlinks to other sites; as FACEM WEB cannot check the content of the sites thus visited, it accepts no liability in this respect. Browsing the site may lead to cookies being installed. By default, only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are set. Any analytics or advertising cookies are set only after your consent has been obtained, via the dedicated banner. You can change your choice at any time and configure your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) to refuse cookies.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

Any dispute relating to the use of the kwevio.com website and the Kwevio app is subject to French law. Except where the law provides otherwise, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of Arras, France.

10. Glossary

User: any internet user connecting to and using the aforementioned site or app. Personal information: information that allows, in any form whatsoever, directly or indirectly, the identification of the natural persons to whom it applies (within the meaning of article 4 of the GDPR).
